Hello, and welcome!
I’m Nancy, the founder of Atmagick. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by energy and the unseen — the things we may not always be able to explain, but can sometimes sense or feel.
Growing up in Québec City, I was introduced to divination at a young age through my grandmother. I remember watching her read playing cards using a spread called Le Chemin du Soir (The Evening Path), fascinated by how she could interpret their messages and weave them into a story. Those early experiences helped shape what would become a lifelong passion, one I now carry forward as a third-generation practitioner.
By my early teens, I was reading cards and diving into palmistry, the occult, and all things esoteric, eventually expanding my studies into Tarot, Lenormand, Astrology, and other divination systems. The more I studied, the more I wanted to learn!
And for those who speak Astrology, I’m a Scorpio Sun ♏☉, Gemini Moon ♊☽, and Aries Rising ♈ASC. Fixed water, mutable air, and cardinal fire — quite the trio!
Fortune Teller… Not Really!
For me, divination is about so much more than predicting what happens next.
It’s about understanding patterns, exploring possibilities, gaining perspective, and discovering connections.
I believe that Tarot, Astrology, and Lenormand each have their own unique language and offer different lenses through which to explore and understand our experiences. They can help us reflect on where we’ve been, better understand where we stand, and explore where we might be heading.
My approach is grounded in the structure, symbolism, and traditions of each system, and I believe that understanding how these elements connect and influence one another is what brings depth to an interpretation.
A Passion for Sharing Knowledge
Alongside offering personal readings, teaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of my practice.
My teaching philosophy is simple: I don’t want students to only memorize meanings. I want them to understand the underlying language, recognize the connections, and develop the confidence to interpret for themselves. More importantly, I want them to take what resonates and make it their own!
And while I’ve been studying and practising divination for decades, I still consider myself a lifelong student. There’s always another layer to explore, another school of thought to consider, and a new perspective to uncover.
Why Atmagick?
The name combines Atma, the Sanskrit word for the true Self, with Magick. Together, they reflect the heart of my practice — discovering the magick that lives within while offering guidance for the soul.
